Pet Stop pet fence systems developed and introduced the OT-300 outdoor dog fence transmitter and UltraTuff™ receiver collar in the last quarter of 2010. These new products are the highest quality pet containment equipment on the market.
The OT-300 transmitter is powered by a 12 or 18 volt AC/DC power supply and uses very little electricity to operate ($1 to $2 per month). It comes with a lifetime warranty due to the superior lightning protection on board the unit. A ground wire is ran from the transmitter to a grounded outlet which provides superior lightning protection and meets all city codes.
The OT-300 transmitter also boasts a wire break alarm in the event the dog fence wire is cut while digging in the yard. It also comes with incredible programming capability. The Pet Stop OT-300 transmitter can be programmed to work with competitive pet fences so if your friends have a different brand dog fence collar that is no problem. Pet Stop is the only system on the market that has competitive programming capability. It also comes with a digital readout which displays the number of feet of radio signal coming off the dog fence wire.
The UltraTuff™ receiver collar boasts twice the plastic thickness compared to any other pet fence dog collar on the market. This prevents chew damage from those canine companions who love to chew on plastic items. If you have two or more dogs on the pet fence and one of the dogs enjoys chewing on the others collar the Pet Stop UltraTuff™ receiver collar ensures that no chew damage will occur. The UltraTuff™ also boasts a lifetime warranty.
The UltraTuff™ receiver operates off of replaceable 6 volt lithium batteries, which can be purchased on our website or at battery stores, and it also comes with a low battery light so there is no guessing when the battery is low. Expected battery life is 6 months to one year depending on how often the pet fence boundary is challenged.
